Thank god it’s Friday.  Of course, Matt’s incompetant payroll department didn’t produce a check for him today.  They claim they mail them on Tuesdays.  Well as Matt put’s it, “They must have strapped it to the back of a donkey to make the trip” because it does not take that long for a first class piece of mail to come from Atlanta, GA.  Okay, it could, but only if we lived in a rural setting and not near a major city.  Last time it took 7 days, which was a crock.  They won’t admit that they actually mail the check on Friday’s.  His last company checks came from Florida and they were here in 2 days.  Oh well.

I had a good day for the most part.  While the kids were napping earlier I found this cool new concept website called Moola.com.  It has a payout system like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, but involves playing one of two simple games.  It’s a simple concept, but highly addictive, and very hard to get very far.  One game is rock, paper, scissors, and the other is called Gold Rush.  So in my spare time today i’ve been messing with that, winning and losing my pennies over and over again.

Andrew threw up last night in his bed, so I of course didn’t take him to the Y this morning.  I spent my morning instead cleaning up the remaining chunks and doing his laundry.  He was not sick today though, which was odd.  I felt the need to keep him home anyway just in case.  That in turn meant that I didn’t get another workout today… which sucks.  That’s life though.

I went to dinner with the family again today, and yes again at Big Boy at my disapproval, but went anyway.  Andrew went nuts and Chris was actually behaving.  Andrew is starting to want to become independent and wanted to feed himself.  My grandma couldn’t understand that’s what he wanted and she kept trying to feed him… we all had to tell her really loud that he wants to feed himself. After that he hushed up a bit.  He had spaghetti and devastated the area again.

I’ve been on the phone for like the last hour and a half with Julie.  I have no idea how I keep conversations going that long… it just amazes me.  Somehow friends find things to talk about at random.  Mostly we spent time trying to figure out who someone was that is messaging her on MySpace.

I can’t find my freaking yearbook.  I have kept that thing in pristine condition for years, and since we moved the house around it’s gone missing.  I actually went into a panic about it a while ago.  I keep all my books in several spots and it’s not in any of them.  I know just about everyone I graduated with, but others don’t, so when I talk about someone I usually have to bring out the yearbook to get people to know who i’m referring too.  Grrr… I wish I could find it.  I hate my picture in the yearbook, I look like a complete retard.  What was I thinking wearing the clothes and doing my hair like that!!!!

Some friends really irritate me.  You try to be friends, you laugh, you joke, and they ruin it in all selfishness and end up hurting people by what they say.  I try not to be like that, but others can’t help it.  Ah well – as my grandma would say, there’s a million other fish in the sea.
