Will it ever stop raining? Thankfully today Chris’ coach called the game at almost 4:00 so this time I didn’t get him all ready to play and drive there. So far they’ve missed 4 or 5 games due to this rainy May we are having. This has been the wettest month in a long time. We had a really wet winter so I was hoping for a nice spring and summer but it’s not turning out to be like that so far. I got the boys out of school and home with 2 minutes to spare before the thunderstorms and heavy rain came in this afternoon. Maybe we’ll get something good and actually severe sometime today!
So I have some great news, and not so good news. The great news is my CT scan came back with nothing cancerous. I just have for now, enlarged lymph nodes. That is wonderful and I about cried when she told me that yesterday. The bad news is that during my first ever head to toe physical is that I may have scoliosis. She ran her fingers down my spine and noticed curvature. She also said that the right side of my body is droopier than my left side. Maybe this would explain the very minor back pain, which is more like an annoyance has been going on for a long time. Ah well, i’d rather have a mild case of that than cancer that’s for sure!
The girls are still a little sick. The baby has developed a little cough. If it doesn’t get better by Friday I will take her in. It seems more to do with post-nasal drip than a chest cough. She’s still goo-ing and babbling away though, with a little bit of crankiness. Caitlyn is almost done with her cold thankfully!
Ah now that I’m moving I’m getting more and more annoyed by my house daily. I can’t wait to get out of here. I found out that they will be attending Monroe Public Schools and the bus will actually pick them up right in front of the house and drop them off there daily!! No more worrying about them getting to/from school!
Summer is coming though and I have no vacations planned for this year, which is unfortunate. We need one badly. I’m dreading being home all day with 4 kids to myself. They will not spend all day on the Xbox either, I refuse to allow that. I want them to be kids and go outdoors and play.
Well I’ll keep this one short.
