So I have a blog for a reason…

Yes, I have a blog for a reason.  I’ve been on the internet since the internet was nothing.  I also have my Facebook and my Twitter account.  I don’t mind visitors to my blog, naturally.  What I am getting sick and tired of already is going in and having to add new anonymizing proxy servers to my block list which is already thousands of IP addresses long.  Great, you want stalk me and everything, fine, but really, no point in hiding your real IP address.  If I don’t know who you are, your IP won’t tell me anything.  I don’t check my website stats anyway until I get an email that says I have a new proxy to block, so if you visit my site via proxy, you are just asking to be found out anyway.  Proxies don’t work, I am smarter than that.  Just like the little gears that run in my mind 24/7, in the thousands, there are little gears running this website 24/7 that collect information that could tell me what I need to know if I felt like wanting to know, but I don’t generally care.  That info is disposed of every 24 hours, but I do get notified.  I despise proxy servers though. I get more hacking attempts on my blog than I’d care to want so I’m on the lookout.   I’m not stoooooooopid.  I’m just gonna start blocking whole countries if it continues.  I’m pretty sure nobody in the EU,  Netherlands or Russia knows me.  I’m not quite that famous yet.  Britain, yes, but not the others.
