Not much going on… for once!

I have not much to write about today really.  Not much happened which is a good thing.  I woke up extremely tired at about 8:30a.m. this morning.  I always wake up these days to Chris tapping the wall, or making little irritating noises.  Just enough for me to wake up in a bad mood.

It felt so refreshing to be able to open the door and windows to get some fresh air in.  My house still smells like smoke, but I think that will slowly diminish.  I carpet cleaned with some febreze in the solution mix so I think that helped.

Matt got home from work at 1:00p.m. as usual on Fridays.  We sat around very lazily for a couple hours until we went with my mom, grandma, and brother to Arthur’s restaurant.  I hate going out to dinner!  There is way too much chaos with all of us.

As soon as I got back I went straight to Julie’s house to drop off our presents.  She showed me all the cool stuff she got from other people.  The presents are starting to filter in.

After then we took the kids to Lions park.  That was funny because I got on this strange teeter totter that you stand up on with my sister and then my brother.

After that we went to Steake N Shake for a shake and we came home.  Now i’m sitting here on my new laptop browsing the web.  I hate laptop keyboards.  I’m not used to them.  This is my very first laptop, but we have 3 in the house right now.  I’ve always been a desktop only kinda person.  Blame it on my dad… he always said they were better.  Which, of course they are in some respects, but not others.

One thing that bothers me though is my MySpace blog background is all screwed up because laptops have a weird screen dimensions.

I’m sitting here watching Austin Powers: Goldmember and I just seen a shot of Tom Cruise who is in the end and I just thought i’d mention that seeing him makes me want to smack him silly.  Grrr. 🙂  Although the image of fat bastard in the end with his hanging skin greatly reminds me of myself at  the moment!! :o)
