Not a good week.

Ok well my week has been horrible… down right horrible.  I hope to end it on a good note when I go to court though soon.  First of all, my mom’s dog had to be put to sleep because they found out he had lymphoma, and this was on Tuesday I think.   I was horribly emotional over the whole thing, he was only 7 or 8 years old.  My poor Randy.  He’s in a better place now and I don’t feel like reliving the experience in my blog or i’ll get teary-eyed again.  Then the next day my mom got in a car accident and that freaked me out a bit, she’s ok though, thankfully.  The day after that Andrew got sick and that night I got horribly sick.  With me, things are meant to go down, not come up, so vomiting was impossible.  It hurt really really bad.  I continued to sleep for the next 2 days straight and only now am I feeling up to being up… and it’s 4:30a.m. so i’m still not sleeping much!  Andrew keeps crying and waking up.  It’s alright though.

Aside from my bad week, I actually am looking forward to the coming week.  We bought our kids a pool this week and they have been enjoying it when we’ve not been too sick to let them use it.  We also set up a screen tent to put the pool in for an extra added safety measure.  It also helps keep the bugs out.

I think i’m planning my next vacation.  I think we want to go to Machu Picchu, Peru.  It would be a nice vacation and a destination out of the norm.  Matt’s parents went there a couple years ago and said it was so nice.  That or Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Probably not until next year though.  In August I think we’ll all go stay a few nights at Castaway Bay near Cedar Point.   I am destined to get to Egypt by 2009 though, so that is #2 or #3 in my destination list!!

Yes, well, it’s 5a.m. so it’s time for me to go to bed.  I’m a bit exhausted!  I made the mistake of having an iced mocha before bed and it’s kinda kept me up!

Argh… now it’s 7:19a.m. and i’ve managed to get on my hands and knees and scrub the grout between the tiles on the bathroom floor.  It was starting to get a bit dingy…. what a better time to do it…. when your half asleep and energetic at the same time!  Andrew just kept waking me up so I gave up sleeping at 5:15a.m. and came downstairs and started my cleaning duties.  I think today we are going to throw away his crib… a sad moment.  It’s lived well through two babies and its end is near.  We’ve been keeping the old thing bolted together barely for the past 5 years!  It’s done it’s purpose and now it will go on to the next lucky trash picker or Waste Managment!  If there is a next child, it will have a new crib!
