My 23rd Week

I’m into my 23rd week now! Gee, only 16 to go until delivery! The wait is killing me of course, but I handled it once before, Im sure I can do it again… :o) So far everything is going good. I have really started to feel the baby kick from the outside now, and it’s so amazing to feel. That is the one thing that makes it all real is when you can feel it externally. My next doctor’s appointment is December 6th, and Ill be 25 weeks then. He’ll probably want to do some more blood work at that point. I most likely won’t get another ultrasound until Im 32 weeks, if that.
Tomorrow is Turkey day and we are celebrating with my family as usual. Our small gathering is always much better than an impersonal “giant” gathering that we used to have. I am cooking the turkey this year, and it will be just as good as last year’s turkey I made. I’m also making the candied yams which my grandma loves.
Today was the first snowfall, and it came down in bucketfuls! This is the first year Chris truly knew what is going on, so he was so amazed to see snow. He kept calling it snowballs, and when he went out in it, it freaked him out a bit!
School is going good still. I’m happily maintaining an A in my English class, but Math is another story. It has gotten much more complicated, and Im now down a B I think or worse…. not sure yet! My last test I scored a 45 on it, and it was very hard. The problem with my math instructor is that he only grades tests, so no homework counts. I’m a bad test taker. With the last test, I drew a complete blank like 3 questions into it. It’s just not fair….. :o) Now he’s talking about canceling our next test, and grading our final twice…. that could be good, or good be bad. He’s running out of time in the semester so he’s scrambling on what to do.
Matt’s citizenship interview is in 10 days. He’s quite nervous, as he has to memorize 100 questions and answers, some of which I don’t even know! Hopefully the interviewer is having a good day and gives him some of the easy questions. He pretty much knows the answers to them all though, which is shocking.
