“Worcester Cathedral has been a place of prayer and worship since 680 AD. The present building was begun in 1084. Its many attractions include: King John’s Tomb, Prince Arthur’s Chantry, the early 12th century Chapter House and St Wulstan’s Crypt.”
We are back at his parents house today thankfully. The weather was aweful in Wales. Here it was nice and sunny!
Tomorrow we are going to the J.R.R. Tolkien weekend where Matt’s dad does the railroad thing (like at Kiwanis Park). Tolkien grew up around here and this area was a basis for most of his books so they worship him around here. The kids will enjoy it. Sometime next week we are going to Gullivers Kingdom in Matlock Bath, which is like a mini-Disney. I’m sure they will like that too. I think we will visit Aunt Maureen on Tuesday. They live in Moreton-on-Marsh which is about an hour away. We may also do Straford-upon-Avon tomorrow. That is one of my favorite towns. It depends on the weather!
