Matt's leaving again!

Yes well I guess that’s the price we pay for a good job with great pay.  This time he’s only leaving me for a week to go to Boston at the beginning of August.  I didn’t like it when he had to go to California because of the flight and time difference.   Boston is only 1 hour and 45 minutes away by plane, so he’s not far.  I’m dreading dealing with the kids all alone for that short period of time.  We’ll do good though! I managed almost a month back in February.

I guess we are going to Vegas in November to meet up with his parents and his Aunt Maureen.  I’ve always wanted to go there, but I dread the flight as usual.  Not quite as long as going to England but still too much for me.  I like to gamble on ocassion, but I suck at it.  I’ve only been really lucky at the slots once, and that was on my 19th birthday when I went to casino Windsor.

There’s not much going on right now though.  It’s been an extrordinarily boring summer.  I’ll be making up for this boring summer this winter.  So far this summer i’ve missed all the fireworks shows, all the art fairs, all the carnivals and air shows, and i’ll miss probably anything else.  At least I got to go to Cedar Point!
