I am beyond disgusted with my local hospital. I can’t even talk too much about it except to say, don’t go there. I made it a point to not return there for follow-up care. They are so negligent in so many areas its disgusting. I just want all my records and I can’t even get that after 2 attempts. Key elements are missing. I went to another hospital quite a distance away for another issue and they couldn’t help me notice all the bruises on my legs. All I have to say is, I know where they came from, and generally who caused them, but they aren’t going away. I took pictures of my legs and body parts a few days after getting out of the hospital and they were bad, but looked like they were gettfing better. Then slowly over the last 3 weeks more prominent bruising starts appearing. The hospital had to ask me if I got the hell beat out of me at home and if I was safe because that’s how bad it looked. Obviously no this didn’t happen at my home, we are a relatively peaceful and quiet family. It doesn’t really hurt too bad, it’s mostly just appearance. The pain went away after the first week. It’s like the larger greenish bruising was slowly replaced by little bruises. It’s obvious in pictures I had before that I did not have bruising this severe, but 3 weeks later I do. I have only been told it’s probably a B vitamin deficiency that has contributed to easily bruising. Grrr. I couldn’t possibly ever send a family member to that hospital!
The kids started school on Tuesday and that has been going well. Andrew can’t get used to waking up so early so getting him up is kind of hard. It’s so peaceful during the day, but the minute they walk in the door all hell breaks loose. The transportation department screwed us over so now they drop the kids off on the main road, which I hate, and it makes me uncomfortable. People speed down this road at freeway speeds, and someone was killed in a head on collision just feet from this spot last week. Yesterday upon dropping the kids off at the corner a van tried to pull out in front of the bus coming to a stop and nearly collided. Chris told me his “bus mate” was crying because of it. Of course, the transportation dept. doesn’t like to return calls so I haven’t talked to them about it.
Now I spend my time stopping the baby fist fights between my 11 month old and 2 1/2 year old, lol. At 11 months old Ava sure knows how to cause trouble! 🙂 She’ll crawl up to Caitlyn and pull her hair or snuggle with her blanket and Caitlyn don’t like it. She’ll try to knock her down if she’s standing or screams. I spend a lot of time reading with them now though.
I have an appointment with my doctor’s office next week and our attorney. I have lots of papers to go through and highlight before then. I’m going to attempt to get new bloodwork done and see if I’m deficient in B12 and other B vitamins. There isn’t enough time in the day for me to get everything done. I barely get 10 minutes on the laptop during the day right now because the baby is always into stuff. Thankfully it takes me only a small amount of time to whip out a few emails and type a blog or two and check on the websites functionality.
I need a vacation, that’s about it. My darn tailbone still hurts like heck from my original fall, reaggravated by the hospital, so I can’t even drive to see my mom in Southgate because my rear hurts. Matt is busy with work so we don’t have time right now. Today you would think the world is ending because a launch of software he is doing is missing the japanese and chinese languages, so it seems like the entirety of General Electric is going nuts so I plan on him sitting here next to me working on his laptop for the next 12 hours at least.
