Let's not have a 3:30a.m. bedtime tonight.
Then earlier today Caitlyn and I went shopping. Well, we went to JCPenney’s. The blister on my foot is so bad and in such a bad location that I can’t wear any shoes to wear anywhere. Anyway, they had Nike memory foam sandals on sale… and I grabbed a pair up for $15. Caitlyn was “shoe shopping” and liked these one flip flops with butterflies and lights in them. They were cute, and only $5. 2 year olds have no idea how to wear flip flops so that was a waste of money. She kept slipping out of them every 30 seconds I had them on her. Still though, they are cute, maybe she will get used to them? We then walked around the closed mall, which none of the stores opened until 12 and it was 11:30. I took baby steps since nobody was in there, because I was hurting pretty bad at this point but was loving the fact that Caitlyn and I did something “girly” together even though she is only just over 2 years old. She behaved well, held my finger the entire time pretty much. When we got home she threw a girly-type attitude because she had to take a nap though!!
So last night I ended up going to bed after 3:30a.m. I really don’t want tonight to be a repeat because I have to take kids to school in the morning. I hope Chris has a good birthday. Him and Andrew have been pretty much on their worst behavior this weekend. He’s big into “talking back” at me now and I settle that real quick. I hope he’s a good boy tomorrow. Nobody wants to have their birthday be memorable in a bad way!
I threw some makeup on just for the heck of it tonight. I had Matt take a new picture of me, because I typically shy away as being the person in front of the camera. I prefer to be behind it! Here it is:
I tried to look ok. My hair is a wreck though. It’s growing in gray and I am getting a lot of hair back that I have lost in the last 18 months and it’s just all uneven.
Well, i’m going to attempt to go to bed on time tonight for sure!
