It's the most wonderful time…. of the year.

Today Im 25 weeks and 2 days along…. time is flying by so fast I really don’t know where it’s going! I told myself that I would start buying baby stuff after the New Year, but Im so hesitant. Before I know it Ill be out of time, and probably with nothing done to prepare!
I’m getting more miserable though, which is to be expected I guess. I’ve put on 10lbs this month alone and it’s killing me. I can’t wait to have this over with so I can lose the weight all over again. My back hurts and my hips hurt constantly!
I got a c-section date at my last appointment! It’s not officially scheduled for yet, but he has it written as the date they will schedule. I guess Im going to be having this new bundle of joy on March 16th, 2005! I’m very excited and nervous at the same time…. as anyone can probably imagine. It’s weird knowing your child’s birth date before they arrive. Of course, none of this means Ill have him on that day. My doctor says if I go into labor ahead of time he’ll take him right then and there. I’ll be 39 weeks when this happens, so anything can happen before hand.
Matt had his citizenship interview on the 3rd of December and passed with flying colors! All we are doing now is waiting for the letter to come in the mail that tells him when his oath ceremony is. I am hoping it happens in time for it to be the big one at Hart Plaza in Detroit on New Years day…. but that is probably rushing it for the BCIS (INS). You can’t expect them to move any faster than a snails pace. At his interview they asked him 10 questions about civics in the U.S., gave him a reading and a writing test. He got all 10 questions right (and they were hard!), as well as passed the others.
School is going fine. I’ve finished up my English class, and I should come out of there with no less than a B+. I’m just waiting for that final grade to come in. Math is all riding on my final exam in a week. I’m praying I pass that with flying colors as well… I need it to get a sufficient grade. I’m not good with college level mathematics, and I can’t seem to focus enough to study it. Here’s hoping I do well! I have to postpone studies this next semester due to the new one arriving. I definitely won’t be able to focus while being miserable at first, then taking care of a newborn daily.
