I had such a horrible rechid nights sleep last night! I went to bed at nearly 11 last night and I woke up near midnight pouring sweat for some reason. I went and got in the shower and just layed there (what a vision). You know that something is wrong when you feel the need to drink the shower water. I sat there and just drank it for what seemed like a minute straight. I got out and went to bed again, only to be awakened by Chris like 40 minutes later who also could not sleep. I attempted to lay him down to bed and I went back to bed. Not long after that he came upstairs and attempted to sleep next to us. That didn’t work out too well because we were both tossing and turning. At some point during the night I got up and brought him downstairs and put a movie on for him because he could not sleep. I know at around 5a.m. he came up and requested to be ticked in finally.
Then when it came time to wake him up for church it was almost impossible. I layed there most of the time and couldn’t sleep so I am dead tired and will probably go to bed early tonight. I’m feeling a bit better today though.
Julie is off to Irish Hills today so I know she will have a good couple of days at least. That doesn’t meant she get a break though, it probably means it’ll be harder for her because she’ll have to keep Joey occupied without all of his toys. At least she can spend a couple of days being happy about life and the weather instead of worrying about with some hoochie says about her, her family, and her friends. She has no computer out there fortunately! I think she’s happy to get away from it.
I’d like to get outside today and do some more gardening. My strawberries are doing perfectly. The only thing that has me peeved is a I have a few patches of dandelions growing on my perfect front lawn. I work hard to keep that lawn looking good and this year my efforts are worthless it seems. I have been putting lawn weed killer on them for like a week straight and they are resisting it or something. I squirt them and they grow bigger! Last night I spent a good hour out there on my hands and knees spraying again. I’ll mow today and hopefully that will help a little.
Matt’s all trying to tell me he won’t remember how to get to his parents house when we leave next week. I’m like, whatever…. he lived there for a good 25 years of his life before he moved to the US! We’ve driven that route forever and I practically have it memorized… and that’s hard to do because the UK is a tangled mess of roads. I’d drive, but that would be a bad thing. I’ve never been used to the wrong side of the car and road driving!
I think i’m going to have a couple meijer brand sandwich cookies for breakfast… not much sounds good right now, and really that sounds gross to me, but I don’t feel like making anything!
11:59p.m. – Well the rest of my day didn’t comprise of much really… After I did a few things earlier on I went back to sleep from like 2:00 – 6:00p.m. Yeah it was a long time, but then again, Chris kept me up all night long getting in and out of bed. It was a lazy day. There is nothing like laying in bed with all the windows open and a slight breeze blowing in. Ahhhh.
Then after I got up we went to Longhorn and I indulged in my $24 steak dinner. It was worth every penny. I can’t usually eat any steak, but if it’s tenderloin (filet mignon) I can eat it if I chew very slowly.
I just got done watching Night at the Museum and it was a good movie. I find it odd that Owen Wilson went completely uncredited in this movie, yet he had a huge role. I read some crazy monkey reason behind it, but still, seems odd. Now i’m watching the 40 Year Old Virgin, which is more like a comedy/porn movie! I’m sitting here looking at Matt’s face while he’s watching it, and he has this huge grin on his face. He’s using his laptop at the same time so he sneaks a look every now and then!
I can’t believe it’s midnight already, and time for my shower and then bed. Matt and I are going to get our blood done at the clinic in the morning. We are 6 months overdue!
