He's home finally!

Well my baby Andrew is home from the hospital finally! He came home yesterday at about 7:00p.m. The first thing we did is go to grandma’s house and have her hold him because she hasn’t had a chance to hold him yet. I think we stayed until almost 10p.m. We had a very good, but strange feeling first night. It was weird thinking he was 2 1/2 weeks old already. He’s on an every 4 hour eating schedule so he eats at 12a.m., 4a.m., 8a.m., 12p.m. 4p.m., and 8p.m. This schedule is very convenient, so hopefully he stays on it. He seems very quiet, but just as my luck would have it; he stays awake during Chris’ nap time the first day. I hope that doesn’t last!!

I spent yesterday morning at the hospital for my massive otitus externa, a very massive infection of my outer ear canal. I’ve never been in so much pain in my life. The c-section was not even close pain wise. I would do that over again a million times before going through this again. I’m on antibiotics, extra strength vicodin, and I have an ENT appointment this Monday. I just wish the pain would go away!!

Chris is adjusting well to having a baby, and he likes helping out so that’s a good thing. I’m sure there will be many interesting days to come!
