He had an "episode"!

Today my baby is 10 days old. Time sure is flying by. I just called the hospital for an update on his condition and he is doing ok. He is still on oxygen. He had an “episode” during the night where one of his levels went down to 85 — not sure what it’s called, but they want it between 90 and 100. He is getting much better though. They have him in a standard crib now, which consists of a plastic basket on top of a metal cart. I was truly hoping that he’d be home by Sunday, but that is looking bleak now. I want him in there as long as it takes. I want to make sure he is 150% well before he comes home. I would not want to take him home and have to worry if something will happen to him.
I went to have my staples removed today, and I thought it would be painful because the skin was starting to heal over the staples. It wasn’t bad, and it only pinched for the really healed ones. I have to go back in 5 weeks for my postpartum checkup.
Hooray! I’m down 32 lbs, which puts me almost at my pre-pregnancy weight, and really close to my dieting weight. I started from day ..1 on my old regimen lifestyle. It’s much easier to accomplish this when youre not pregnant. We’ve gone from eating out 6 days a week to eating in, which is helping a lot.
