Go Larry Birkhead!

Today was a pretty boring day. Not much happening of course.  I got up this morning, spent a little time entering my daily sweepstakes and then I went to the Y at noon with my sister.  I did my usual couple miles on the treadmill and some strength training.

When I came home from the Y I sat and watched Fox News (my fav. station) and waited to hear who the father of Anna’s baby is.  I was so elated that it turned out to be Larry Birkheads kid.  I mean, from the beginning I knew she looked just like him.  They have the same mouth.  You knew it wasn’t Howard K. Sterns (HK$).  I’m happy for him!  You could just tell he’s not in this for the money.  He’s not used to all the press, he seems so shy.

Anyway, after that I got Chris up from his nap and we both went to the dentists office.  Chris got his teeth cleaned and he did a good job.  I also got my teeth cleaned.  I don’t care how good you maintain your teeth, they still find crud to scrape out. I am very particular with my teeth these days and they still managed to make me cringe with my cleaning.

After that I went to the hospital to visit my grandma, who is doing better.  They think she may come home tomorrow.  I hope before they send her home she’s better.

I registered for my first 3 classes at Wayne State University.  I enrolled in elementary Spanish, Intro to Anthropology and Intro to Criminal Justice.  I’m still deciding whether or not to add a 4th class for a total of 16 credit hours.  It’s my first real semester so i’m not sure what I can handle.  The bill is already up near $3000 as is.  It’ll be near $4K if I add another class.  Books are steep too.  Before I start my classes i’ll have to go down to WSU and get a grip on where i’m going and where to park.  I hate Detroit and I hate driving in Detroit, so I need to get used to it.  I also need to get some academic advising because I’m not too entirely sure what classes I still need to take.  I have to find out how many credits are transferring over from WCCC.  I’m sure I won’t get 100% of that.
