Gloomy Day

I managed to finally get back to the Y today after it was closed for a week.  I still have no idea why it was closed.  I started to kinda not feel good halfway through my workout so I toned it down a bit. I usually stay at least an hour and today I was 45 minutes.

It’s such a gloomy miserable day!  I think I want to go to Florida to see Disney World. I haven’t brought the idea up to Matt yet.  It’s a toss up between England and Florida.  It depends on how many British Airways frequent flyer miles I can accrue between now and December.  I have 61,000… but I need 70,000 for two plane tickets.  But then again, tickets are really cheap in December… so that would be waste of my miles.  I should wait until June when they are the most expensive ($1100 round trip) and use those miles then.  No matter what time of the year the miles get you the same ticket, no matter the cost.  I really want to see England in the summer months.  The closest I got was May, and it was beautiful.  Other than that, the rest of the time it’s been in the winter, which isn’t bad… 45 – 55 degree’s but it’s kinda gloomy and misty every day.  I do love any place though that has green grass year round and hardly any snow!  Now if I can only find a place that has leaves on the tree’s all year round….

The winter blues are coming and i’m already planning a tropical vacation.  I couldn’t help but look through some airplane landings (my other fascination – airplanes) on Google Video’s… when I noticed this really awesome place in St. Maarten, Bahamas.  The beach is at the end of the runway, and people were standing there getting sandblasted by the planes, while the planes are literally less than 100 feet above their heads while landing.  If I ever make it to the bahamas I have to go there just to experience that!

Yes well i’m off to take a nap — what is there better to do on a gloomy dreary day!! ;o)
