Bored in Michigan

I went to my grandma’s house earlier so I could install some curtains and roller shades in my mom’s room.  While I was doing that the kids were going nuts at the hands of my grandma.  After I got done doing that we went to Meijer and picked up a few things and then Beth, myself and the kids went to the Y for our usual workout.  I hate going in the evenings because it’s so freaking crowded.  On the way home I stopped home and got them some cheese pizza’s from taco bell / pizza hut.  That’s basically when disaster started.  I got them some breadsticks with sauce to go with their pizza’s.  When we got home I let them eat on their t.v. trays and watch a movie.  Well the first thing that happened is Chris dumped his pop all over the floor, then Andrew kicked over his cup of sauce all over the place.  He then proceeded to stomp it into the floor and track it around the livingroom while I was trying to clean it up.  My carpet is beige colored so this wasn’t floating well with me.  I had to pull out the carpet cleaner and do the entire carpet, which took until 10:30p.m.  I got a new Dyson vacuum cleaner so when the carpet dry’s i’ll have the best opportunity to try it.  You’d be amazed at what that thing picks up.

Southgate hasn’t had school for 2 days because of the bitter cold so my sister got lucky.  Chris hasn’t had school either so i’ve had a break from actually going outside.  I hate taking Andrew with me to drop Chris off because I follow the rules and use the crossing guard at Shelters… which means I have to walk a lot further than if I was to just cross the road.  With this wind and cold, that makes it hard on Andrew.

Matt’s bored in Boston.  I’m bored in Michigan, but we’d just be bored togheter if he were here.  Not much to do or much going on.  Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.  Tomorrow Julie comes over so I can do their taxes.  I’ve done everybody’s taxes for the last few years.  I don’t know why I don’t become an accountant.  I’m well versed in the U.S. Tax code… and I don’t know why.
