Almost December

Ok well it’s been a while since i’ve last updated. Not much has been going on though really. I’ve had school, which i’ve been slacking on the last 2 weeks. It’s coming up to the end of the semester and i’m burned out already. Not much longer though… I think 2 weeks. Tomorrow I have to disect a fetal pig in Biology, which I am really not looking forward too. My friend and lab partner Julie will be doing this oinker’s autopsy for the most part.

Andrew is doing great. Just like his brother he’s taken on this orange hue, letting us know he loves orange foods a lot. The doctor told me with Chris that they turn orange due to all the beta-carotene in the foods. You can tell it’s not jaundice by looking at the whites of their eyes. If they are orange, they have jaundice. Andrew had his 9 month well-baby visit today, and she just confirmed what we already knew about my golden child. He’s up to 20lbs and is 29 inches tall. She said he’s tall! At his last appointment, she said he was a shorty. Must be growing! He had a flu shot today and he’ll go in a month for the other half of it. Chris had a surprise flu shot too, which he cried like a baby for. Andrew barely winked, and definetly didn’t cry.

Chris is doing well now. He’s really enjoying school, and I can tell it’s helping him. Now he makes complete sentences, and no longer repeats what you say. If you ask him a question he gives you an answer.

I’m doing well now. I’m down 32lbs and it’ll keep coming off. I have proper restriction now which allows me not eat a lot. I also work out often so the pounds should be coming off. I’ve just had my very first NSV (non-scale victory)!! I’m down a full pant size, and that just motivates me even more.

So far i’m averaging 8lbs a month. I’d like that number to go up, so we’ll see what we can do this next month. I want to me down to 250lbs by January 1st for a new family photo. I just look hideous in my old ones. I ultimately want to be around 200lbs for Chris’ birthday, which is in June. That will be my 100 pound marker, and i’m going to work at it real hard.
