I hate fall and winter because that means its windy, cold, and snowy! Yesterday was our first real blast of winter because it was about 28 degrees outside, with blowing snow. I usually like it to wait until the end of November before it snows. This sucks! Why couldn’t my family be deeply rooted somewhere that’s warm year round like Florida or New Mexico. I would so totally move if it weren’t for family keeping me here.
I looked out my back doorwall and noticed that my backyard is completely buried in leaves. The task seems very daunting to clean up all those leaves. We have three very old, and very tall maple tree’s like 10 feet from the house. Not only do they give us grief in the fall, they also cause our basement to flood from time to time due to the roots blocking up our sewers. I swore I wouldn’t move until we’ve been here 10 years, so only 7 years to go. Even then we can’t move far because I refuse to remove Chris from his roots and his friends at his school… especially since by time he’s 11 years old, he’ll have some friends (well hopefully!)
I’m sitting here watching The View and Tim Allen and Martin Short are on and those are two of my fav. actors… especially Martin Short. He plays some great roles. I love him in Father of the Bride 2.
Not much is going on today – other than the usual family outings on Friday. I doubt grandma will go out to dinner today though because it’s blustery out.
The website is now open for business, though as expected there is no traffic. We’ll let it sit around for a few years and let google spider it, and hopefully over the months it will develope with a small bit of advertising. It’s just our project so we’ll see how it does.
Julie called me last night and left a message saying she was getting a divorce. We’ll see how long that thought lasts. Tom is a jackass and she is so gullable to him. Supposedly he took his ring off and said he’s not happy anymore. Well I sent her an email that said something to the nature of yeah we’ll see how long that lasts. They need to split. They should have never got married. The day Julie called me and told me she was getting married, I told her not to do it, and she even told me she really didn’t want too, but that she had too or he would leave. He pulls her into situations and I think it’s wrong. He’s very controlling over her. He never wanted a child, he abandoned his first child, but Julie wanted one. He keeps telling her that if she leaves, he’ll never see the baby again. That just goes to show you how much he really does care. She’s better off with someone else!
Ah well…who knows if she’s going to the show with us next week. He told her, “Go, but i’ll get you back”… whatever that means. I doubt she’ll go because of his threats. He is so mean to her.
Well i’m going to go put my kids down for a nap now, it’s 11:45 and they need to get a nap in or else they will be way too cranky for the rest of the day.
