Great Lakes Crossing

I had a good day today.  We spent the afternoon at Great Lakes Crossing.  We took Chris to Jeepers while we were there.  It’s like a chuck-e-cheese but way better.  They have games & real rides.  I went on a himalaya with him twice, and Matt went on it 4 times.  It’s like real rides scaled down.  He also went on a rollercoaster.

I’ve had a really long day, and the drive to/from Auburn Hills was horrific.  We forgot that I-75 was closed between 8 & 12 mile road, so we got off and took a really long way up using woodward.  On the way back we got off on 12 mile road hoping to get on Southfield only to find out it was closed somewhere down there, so we had to take another detour which dropped us off in the ghetto of Detroit.  We turned right onto Grand River, only to make a wrong turn and get on another street, which happened to be a good route anyway.  We got to Southfield Fwy…. finally…. and started to drive down a few miles only to find out it was closed between Joy & Ford Road… therefore we had to get off somewhere and turn right to try and go down to Telegraph.  Finally we made it to Telegraph and got home.  Boy that was a long trip.

Oh i’m really tired right now!!    We have Chris’ b-day party tomorrow…which isn’t much.  Just some family and a cake.  He’s getting to be a big boy at 4 years old.
