Toyota Sucks.
Woke up at 7a.m. today, sat on my computer until the monsters awoke from their slumber… which happened to be only 30 minutes later. Today is my very first day where I haven’t had to leave my house for any reason, and I like it! I don’t have to take my sis to school, don’t have to take Chris to school or pick him up. I do have to go visit my grandma later, as I do daily anyway.
My husband emailed me from work today to tell me to start looking for new jobs for him. The reason…..they’ve banned internet access at work. He doesn’t spend his days browsing the web, only his lunch and occasionally throughout the day. Toyota has really tightened their fists regarding salaries and privileges…. despite them being the #2 auto maker in the country. So I go on Monster.com and look for a few jobs and applied to a few. Anyway, like an hour later he gets a call from Pfizer saying their interested in him. They promise they can get him $85,000 on a 40 hour work week. He currently makes that, but works 50 hours for it. I think the new job would be around $45 per hour. Not to mention they guaranteed good benefits. The hiring manager will be reviewing his resume over the next couple days and will let him know. It sounds really really good, and I hope it works out.
I cleaned my carpet again today.. 2nd time this week. I also cleaned my leather couch and my walls. The boys went on a chocolate chip cookie rampage this morning and covered everything in chocolate. I’ve tried to get them to go to sleep for the past 2 hours but I keep catching chris jumping inside Andrew’s crib. Needless to say I don’t think they will be napping 🙁
I prepared my rabbit food last night (carrots and celery) and I went to eat it this morning and the celery tasted all chemically and stuff. Very bitter. I washed it but maybe I didn’t wash it enough?
Hmm…..what’s for dinner… I never know until like 5 minutes before Matt gets home from work. Mostly because I never know what I can make that I can actually eat. That and most of the time I can’t prepare food early becuase Matt always ends up home late for many many strange reasons. Sometimes the freeway is closed, traffic james on US 23, a U of M or Eastern football or basketball game has roads tied up, and other unknown reasons.
