Here is the moon for 7/18/2015. Of course I don’t have my black hole seeing lens or anything so craters are just barely visible, but that is the star regulus shining brightly above it. Venus is right behind the moon but not visible due to light and Jupiter is just off camera to the right. FYI: Regulus is the brightest star in the constellation Leo the Lion, depicting the Lion’s heart! This blue-white beauty of a star is the only 1st-magnitude star to sit almost squarely on the ecliptic.Here is the moon for 7/18/2015.
