Ok, I take videos of everything, naturally. I have been really bad the last couple years and have not renamed any of the videos from what cameras naturally name them, such as DSC_ or IMG_… you know, so I put all my videos on my video creation computer and then forget they exist because I don’t name them, which makes life difficult sometimes, especially with pictures. I used to take time to specifically name them all. Anyway, so I was going through my YouTube alternate account and found a video where I took my mom, sister, and oldest son to one of my favorite restaurants in Detroit called Coach Insignia. It’s sits on top of the “GM” Renaissance Center. I did this because on that very day we found out that my mom was going to live a long time. I took her out, bought her a new outfit because she was a bum and didn’t own more than sweats, and said, let’s celebrate. I paid extra in wink money to get the table we had with the most perfect view of what normally from the ground would be trashy Detroit, but it was sunset, you could see the south and west of Detroit, which meant a great view of the Detroit river, the Ambassador bridge to Canada, and the sunset. Perfect. Neither my sister or my mother could never afford to eat at such a place, but it was a good day in history. My mom worked at MGM Grand in Detroit, so she kept talking about that. Things were good on this day. I let them all get whatever they wanted.. I think our bill by the end of the night was about $700.00 but it was worth it. My sister is a pansy though, which is what makes this video a keeper too, because the elevator is on the outside of the building which means a scary ride for her. Then she wouldn’t sit facing the river, fine by me, lol. I used to be a frequent at this restaurant, but still never got this perfect view, ever.
