She can’t get any cuter than this! Sometimes the girls just do the cutest thing!! Yesterday Ava actually wanted to cuddle with me without being mean, lol. I was wrapped up in my coat with thick socks and mittens on sitting on my couch and she came up and let me wrap her tight in my arms, almost a fetal like position and she enjoyed that for 10 minutes before ripping my face off with her hands, ha ha, she is so much like her brother Andrew it’s amazing. My nose is raw too because it has been drippy for a couple days and I keep rubbing it with a paper towel, so when she grabbed at my face a sharp part of her nail caught the side of my nose and that hurt.
I slept well last night and I have been lately. The night before I had gone over to my friends house to compute together (because we are geeks) and watched Poltergeist 1, 2, and a smidge of 3 before I had to cover my eyes and leave, and because it was 12:30a.m. I do not like scary movies and I can only tolerate comedic horror films like Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, Scary Movie 4, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, etc. And as far as “real” movies go, Poltergeist the original, and the original Scream are all I can handle. I’m a weenie.
On my way home from Julie’s on dark and lonely Fort St. all I kept thinking about was the fact that my low pressure light was on and it was hard to drive my van and there was no way I was stopping for a flat because a)It’s dark out and that stretch of road has seen enough deaths in the last 8 months and b)I just got done watching Poltergeist movies, and the thought of creepy old man, clowns that come out from your bed and trees that come to life and attack was on my mind, lol. So, by time I got home my nerves were a little rattled and I couldn’t fall asleep no matter what I took. Sometimes I just have one of them nights.
I’m so cold it’s ridiculous. I have to sit here with gloves and thick socks on with my coat on, and it’s 76 degrees in the house this morning. Last night I took that stuff off so I could eat my salad from Applebees and I was using my left hand hold the salad bowl, and 20 minutes later when I was done my hand was so stiff and hurt from holding it. I guess I’m just the queen of crazy stuff happening.
The last couple weeks i’ve been buying Monster energy drinks and 5 hour energy drinks because I’ve been real sluggish lately, and it’s the first time in my life that even those have no effect on me at all.
Matt’s sister is trying to plan a wedding for July 2012 in Warwick, and she said maybe the kids could be flower girls and page boys. She’s having a catholic wedding. The only problem is she wants it the day the London 2012 olympics start, so if we can make it, the pocket book is going to take a deep hit. Airfare alone is $6200 for my family, and then to try and find a rental vehicle that can accomodate my family is next to impossible in England to start with, add in all the people in for the olympics and that could become impossible altogether and may derail the entire thing. I do not know how to drive in Britain, so getting 2 vehicles would not be a good idea. I don’t think I could handle being a driver over there, Matt barely can and he’s from there. Finding a “family” hotel room is rare over there too, so everything is complicated this time around, but has to be done.
Spring needs to hurry up and get here, even though we’ve not had any snow except a dusting this winter and it makes it go faster, it’s still too cold out. Brrrrrr.
